Donnie Davey, The Dreamer
His title: leading make-up artist of the line Euphoria and co-founder of the brand Half Magic.
His resume. Donnie began his career as a makeup artist on film and television shoots. He became famous in 2017 thanks to the Oscar-winning film Moonlight. His fame takes a turn with the series Euphoria, where the makeup becomes (almost) as popular as the actresses. Shiny tears, jewels around the eyes, heavily pigmented eyeliner lines. Donny introduces a new aesthetic that’s going viral (#euphoriamakeup hashtag has over 2 billion views on TikTok). His title: Founder of the brand Isamaya and Beauty Curator at Off-White.
His resume. For a decade, the British man has overseen the cosmetic lines of luxury brands (Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Louboutin, Burberry). She is also responsible for Byredo’s first makeup collection of 2020. Her vital need to go against industry norms drives her to create her inclusive makeup brand for those who “don’t want to conform” to beauty standards. Priscilla Ono, Brave
His title: global makeup artist Fenty Beauty.
His resume. Her passion for beauty was born while watching videos on MTV in the 1990s. Today, she does makeup for one of pop’s biggest stars, Rihanna. The California native began her career in videos when her talent caught the attention of Rihanna, who chose her to join the team of her makeup brand in 2017. It was he who started the incredible appearance of the singer on red carpets. The Grammy’s, the Met Gala, the Fenty × Savage underwear shows, or most recently her Super Bowl halftime concert. In addition to teaching sold-out masterclasses, Priscilla also helps train thousands of Sephora makeup artists around the world.

What inspires him? “Music, art, gastronomy, travel. And of course, my Latin culture as well.”
Sophia Schwarzkopf-Tilbury, Heir
His title: Creative Director of Charlotte Tilbury Beauty.
His resume. Charlotte Tilbury’s niece trained as a make-up artist alongside her famous aunt, the creator of her eponymous brand, helping her backstage at fashion shows and awards ceremonies to present an Oscar at the Golden Globes via the Cannes Film Festival. In September 2019, London Fashion Week marked her debut as head make-up artist for three ready-to-wear shows at the age of 27. The Brit confirms her position by taking over the Zuhair Murad Haute Couture spring-summer 2023 beauty salon. She has a key role in the development of new Charlotte Tilbury products and is involved in both concept and design. He often poses for brand photoshoots. My grandfather Lance was a talented artist who taught me a lot about color, texture and light. I was captivated by the magic of his brushstrokes. And of course my aunt. It’s a living beauty bible.”
