Do you know which other Disney princesses also have siblings? We tell you!
During the “Frozen” franchise, unlike what is presented in other Disney animations, we follow the evolution of the relationship between the sisters Elsa and Anna, and how much sisterly love can be important regardless of what you are going through.
The plot ended up drawing the attention of the public because it is not something so common among Disney productions, which have the habit of presenting the evolution of only love relationships in their stories. But, did you know that besides Anna and Elsa, there are also two other princesses who also have siblings?
Big family
The first Disney princess to contain siblings was Ariel, from “The Little Mermaid”, who contains exactly six older sisters, Attina, Alana, Adella, Aquata, Arista and Andrina, being the youngest daughter of King Triton and Queen Athena.
The princesses of Atlantis are highlighted only in the prequel “The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Story”, released in 2008, where the main events are presented before the plot presented in the 1989 animation.
Despite this, all princesses are presented with strong personalities, as well as the youngest. Attina, the oldest, who is 21 years old, is the most responsible of all; Alana, 20, is the most glamorous; Adela, who is 19, is the “boy freak” of the group; Aquata, 18, is the toughest of the seven; Arista, 17, is known for being the funniest and most passionate about music; while Andrina, the last before Ariel, is only 16 years old, and is the most spirited among the sisters.
The only other Disney princess who also has siblings is Merida, from “Brave”, who has the triplets Harris, Hubert and Hamish, princes of DunBroch, as her younger brothers. Due to their frequent pranks, the three are affectionately called by their sister as “Little Devils”.
