Have you ever confused Marvel and DC characters? Don’t worry, this could be more common than you might think — as the two publishers actually have characters with very similar characteristics. Check some!
1. Aquaman (DC) and Namor (Marvel)
The two characters are responsible for ruling the seven seas, and for having the throne of the kingdom of Atlantis. Namor was one of the first characters created by Marvel, while Aquaman became popular after joining the Justice League.
2. Green Arrow (DC) and Hawkeye (Marvel)

Green Arrow and Hawkeye are primarily responsible for confusion among new hero fans — mainly due to the fact that both are archers. The DC character is the Green Arrow, also known as Oliver Queen, member of the Justice League. While Marvel’s is Clint Barton, Hawkeye, member of the Avengers.
3. Red Tornado (DC) and Vision (Marvel)

In addition to being very similar physically, Red Tornado and Vision also have very similar stories. Both are androids created by scientists from the TOMorrow and Ultron institutions.
4. Deathstroke (DC) and Deadpool (Marvel)

Some new fans often confuse Deathstroke and Deadpool thanks to their very similar masks, in addition to the same last name: Wilson. DC’s is Slade Wilson, the deadly mercenary known as Deathstroke. Meanwhile, Marvel’s is Wade Wilson, the anti-hero Deadpool.
5. Catwoman (DC) and Black Cat (Marvel)

It is impossible to finish the list without mentioning Catwoman and Black Cat, who have much more similarities than just the connection with cats and black clothing. The two also have a very similar history: both started out as villains, but ended up going a little more heroic thanks to the relationships they had with their rivals, Batman and Spider-Man.
