A bold turn. the phrase “no pants(French for “no pants”), is a growing trend. It consists of going without socks. So, instead of skirts, shorts or jeans, the latest fashion from the catwalks is for the most modest to wear simple pantyhose decorated with panties. A silhouette seen in the spring-summer 2023 collections of Bottega Veneta, Loewe or even Coperni, confirmed in recent days at New York Fashion Week with the Prabal Gurung or Cristian Siriano parades. Reinforced, but not quite new on the catwalks (Versace, Dior or even Saint Laurent have tried it in recent years), this fashion finds its place in everyday life this time.

As a bona fide trendsetter, Kendall Jenner was one of the first to set the scene. In November 2022, the 27-year-old model was photographed on the streets of Los Angeles in a Bottega Veneta silhouette — a tiny navy sweater, a bunch of sunflowers on her sleeve, and tights for pants only.
