The jacket borrowed from the biker wardrobe is coming back. Made popular in the 1950s by Marlon Brando in the film Wild unicycle. This motorcycle accessory now has a new ambassador, singer Rosalia. With his album Motomami Released in March 2022, the Spaniard is experimenting with a thousand and one ways to wear leather. Specifically, in a full leather version, or with an accepted mini skirt and thigh-high boots to push the sensuality cursor a little further. For the performance enthusiast, this piece pairs perfectly with straight jeans and a white t-shirt, just like Kendall Jenner.

(very) low waist

After years of being dominated by the high waist, the pants let the stomach take over again. This flagship piece from the 2000s is making a comeback in the wake of the Y2K trend (literally, the 2000s). Isabel Marant pairs it with a chunky knit or blouse, while the more adventurous wear it with a crop top, like Miu Miu. Rekindling the memory of the Paris Hilton and Christina Aguilera years, low-rise pants are making a strong comeback with a slightly updated approach; in the era of body positivity, they no longer want to be limited to a size 34 this time.
The transparent dress
Nensi Dojaka, spring-summer 2023. Imaxtree:
On red carpets, as on catwalks, transparency is on the rise. Far from a suggestive garment, a see-through dress reveals skin with just a point of opaqueness, underwear or not. Moreover, many celebrities such as Rita Ora, Kate Moss and Bella Hadid have already sported this bold creation. To wear next to the skin or not? At Prada, we saw it worn over a t-shirt and trousers to play the contrasts card.
punk

Rooted in 1970s English rock and largely democratized by designer Vivienne Westwood (who died on December 29), punk is asserting itself this season. The search engine TagWalk reports a 272% increase in punk codes on the catwalks of spring-summer 2023 fashion week compared to the previous one. Majority ? This trend goes unisex. Studs are attached to the shoulders of a jacket or leather moccasins at Gucci, while holes are spread across sweaters and studs at the Acné Studio fashion show. One thing is certain: the rebellious spirit has not said its last word.
Jeans in a total look
Chanel, Métiers d’art 2022/2023 show. Imaxtree:
With the big wave of the 2000s starting to grow in 2022, oversized jeans were already on the rise. This spring, it’s ramping up its popularity, this time with 1990s influences. Skinny jeans have now given way to loose, relaxed cuts. Matching or not, straight jeans go very well with, for example, a jacket made of the same material. If necessary, for example, a Chanel chair. It’s time to bring out these classics that have been forgotten in the closet for over twenty years.
Not delicate flowers
Loewe, spring-summer 2023. Imaxtree:
Forget the blue flower, metaphorical dresses and blouses. Proof of this is the Loewe collection (designer J. Monumental trompe-l’œil anthuriums (exotic flowers) brand breathes a wind of new poetry. Schiaparelli and Saint Laurent have also seen a trick that instantly makes small floral dresses obsolete. As a brooch, to make your outfit bloom as spring arrives.
The very mini mini dress
Jacquemus, spring-summer 2023, “Le Raffia”. Imaxtree:
Seventy years after the creation of the mini skirt, the mini dress is making a comeback. This iconic piece from the 1960s, synonymous with the sexual revolution, still stands out as a symbol of assertive femininity. So in 2023, the mini dress is worn for all occasions, from the beach to a wedding. Jacquemus imagines him in ballet flats and a huge hat. Provided it is well tensioned and very short.
