VIDEO – The 68-year-old actor performed the song Summer nights next to the cult musical duet Scrubs Zach Braff and Donald Faison in a T-Mobile ad for the Super Bowl.

This clip was intended to air during the Super Bowl, the big American football event that will be held this Sunday, February 12th. The 68-year-old actor resumes his hit summer nights, next to the series duo ScrubsZach Braff and Donald Faison.
So we can see him in an outfit like Danny Zuko’s character, the leader of the Rydell High School T-Birds in the 1978 film, then sing his song and dance as he did alongside Olivia Newton John, who played : Australian student Sandy Olson.
In the new spot, the words have been changed to praise the phone provider’s services. Travolta says: “I can’t believe it’s only $50.” To which Faison replies: “Why pay more?” Then Braf. “It’s much worse to pay.” The commercial ends with a reference to another cult Travolta film. Saturday night heatfrom which he reproduces one of the choreographies, pointing his finger to the sky.
Even if it doesn’t directly reference Olivia Newton-John, this cover is still intended to pay tribute to the actress, who died last August at the age of 73 after suffering from cancer.
Following his death, Travolta took to social media to pay tribute to his longtime friend. “My dear Olivia, you have made our lives so much better,” he wrote on Instagram. “You had an incredible impact. I love you very much. We will meet again on the road, and we will be together again. Loyal, since the day I first saw you and forever.”
