Kristoff Bjorgman had his first appearance in ‘Frozen’ in the first scenes of the 2013 feature. On the occasion, Bjorgman appears with a small child, following an ice team with his beloved reindeer Sven.
The animation has a great focus on the sisters Elsa and Anna, in addition to Kristoff and Sven who also appear as popular characters and, from that, the public developed the curiosity to know more about their origin. Among one of the biggest questions from fans is why Kristoff was created by trolls.
creation by trolls
The fact that Kristoff and Sven’s characters end up with Bulda and the trolls was never explained during Disney’s 2013 production.
In the opening scene of ‘Frozen Heart’, it can be understood that Kristoff had some family connection to one of the ice collectors. The trolls, however, did not go so far as to kidnap a child — which actually happens in Norse mythology, the historical part that the film was based on — what really happened was that, as commented by Bjorgman with Anna, he was adopted by the trolls , when it was “just him and Sven”.
Despite his family’s eccentricities, Kristoff appears to have grown up in an environment where he felt happy and free. The whole story involving Kristoff and Sven was cleared up by Jennifer Leedirector of ‘Frozen’ in interviews. jennifer even confirmed that the character, right at the beginning of the animation, was an orphan boy, and was not yet related to the ice team.
Still, in addition to this information, it is not known why Kristoff remained among the trolls, however, one of the speculations is that the boy, instead of staying in the orphanage, preferred to stay with them. Growing up with trolls, who have love as one of their main values, Kristoff learned their customs and, even as an adult, continued to value them.
Another mystery is in relation to Kristoff’s biological parents, since they received little visibility in the productions that involve the family nucleus in question. Despite this happening, there are theories that claim that the character’s parents are alive, and may even appear in the sequel. disneyin ‘Frozen 3’.
