Italian musician Alberto Cotta Ramusino, known to the public under the pseudonym Tananay, released a video about lovers from Ukraine separated by war. The song is called Tango. The video was published on the YouTube channel.
“It’s a song that moves me deeply every time I listen to it, and also draws on my need to dwell on the sensations I feel both when singing and in everyday life, after this year so quickly and very angry,” – said the artist.
The heroes of the video are Maxim Rasteryaev, who is now defending the country, and his wife Olga. He, along with his daughter Liza, was forced to leave Ukraine because of the conflict.
The footage shown in the video was taken by the heroes themselves before and after the war. The video also shows the consequences of strikes by Russian troops.
“I was writing Tango when friends told me the story of Olga and Maxim, and I was immediately struck by strong and contradictory feelings. The goal of my music has always been to reach as many people as possible. One year that has passed since the beginning of this conflict, and perhaps we have forgotten that it is not only a matter of strategy and politics, but also of daily life, which falls and adapts so that the traces of humanity and love does not disappear,” added the artist.
