The popularity of these brilliant antagonists managed to lead them to achieve a feat that is not normally explored in animated fairy tales: the villains became main characters in their own stories, as happened with Maleficent, which in 2014 received a live-action starring Angelina Jolie.
The same happened with Cruella De Vill, as the villain of ‘101 Dalmatians’ won a solo film in 2021 addressing her origin where she came to life through Emma Stone. Introduced in ‘The Princess and the Frog’, Dr. Facilier differs from the other villains by not wishing the protagonist harm, as he rarely meets Tiana. His evil motivation comes from the fact that the sorcerer owes a debt to his friends on the other side and, in an attempt to pay it, at the same time that he benefits from the situation, he uses his subtlety and magic to reach agreements that with the time prove to be a great pitfall.
In a live-action plot, the character, who is also known as the Man of Shadows, could have his past revealed, since in the princess film, he reveals that he is the son of royalty. Furthermore, it could be shown how he came to be indebted to his friends on the other side.
2. Evil Queen
The villain of ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, Evil Queen, is the powerful, sadistic and cold-blooded stepmother who wants to be the most beautiful woman in existence. In the plot, when the Magic Mirror reveals that Snow White has become the most beautiful in the entire kingdom, she tries at all costs to get rid of her own stepdaughter forever.

3. Captain Hook
