Just hours after the US military shot down a Chinese spy balloon off the coast of Carolina, “Saturday Night Live” was already airing a fake MSNBC interview with the still-bombed remains floating in the Atlantic, played by Bowen Yang in the chariots.
“I entertain you guys for four days, but then I get knocked out by Biden!” Yang grumbled. “I can’t believe I’m Joe’s Osama.”
Katy Tur (played by Chloe Fineman) asks what the balloon is doing over Montana
Simple: “I love the show ‘Yellowstone,'” Yang explains.
Tur is surprised the balloon is still afloat, especially since “experts said it was the size of three buses:”
“Okay. Yeah,” Yang replies, often irritated. “I’m a bubble, so this is my body. Dude You Would you like someone to measure your width on buses? I’m sorry, I’m not room ready.”
Tour also interviewed Pentagon official General William Hamilton (Kenan Thompson), who proudly announced, “We broke the bubble.”
The general explained that the balloon had somehow bypassed “the West Coast anti-balloon defense system – the Seattle Space Needle.”
