New DreamWorks exhibition will present the origin and curiosities of the most famous characters
From Shrek to Madagascar: it’s a fact that DreamWorks has marked the history of adults and children with animations that have fascinated generations for years. On the company’s 25th anniversary, the fans are the ones who win the present. That’s because the exhibition ‘DreamWorks Animation – A Journey from Sketch to Screen’ will open in São Paulo.
Through the exhibition, it will be possible to stay on top of the creative process that originated classics from one of the largest animation studios. In addition, it is also a unique opportunity to learn about the origin of characters such as Shrek, Kowalski, Megamind, Po, Hiccup and Fiona.

‘DreamWorks Animation – A Journey from Sketch to Screen’ will also feature 400 never-before-seen collection items, including initial sketches of the feature films, models, as well as interviews and unique interactive digital experiences. The exhibition officially opens on May 20 of this year and will be held daily, from 10 am to 10 pm, at DOM Cultural, located in Shopping Cidade São Paulo. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, February 9 at noon. But stay tuned! You can now join the exhibition waiting list to secure your ticket.
