This Tuesday, ‘Batman’, by Matt Reevesemerged as one of the feature films nominated for the Oscar 2023. The plot that brings Robert Pattinson in the role of watchdog gotham competes for the golden statuette in the categories of Best Sound, Best Hair and Makeup and Best Visual Effects.
However, taking home the prize at the ceremony that will take place on March 12 of this year will not be an easy task, as the film will compete against the sequel to ‘Avatar’ (2009), ‘Avatar: The Path of Water’ and the second hero feature that accumulates five Oscar nominations, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.

‘Batman’ introduced Bruce Wayne at the very beginning of his journey as a Gotham City vigilante. In the plot, he has been stalking the dark streets of the gloomy city for just two years when he comes face to face with his first great and enigmatic enemy: Riddler.
The film that hit theaters in March 2022 will earn its first sequel with the confirmed return of the director Matt Reevesand the actor Robert Pattinson like the Dark Knight. The Batman franchise will also win two series produced by HBO Max: one inspired by Arkham Asylum and another by the famous villain Penguin, which will feature Colin Farrell as the protagonist, the same actor who lived the character on the big screen this year.
