Bad times for boomers. Society shocks them, and when a Spanish series takes a humorous approach to the phenomenon of male toxicity, it makes for an unexpected and fun series to discover on Netflix.
This is the craziest Netflix series of the moment. Hilarious and quite well watched. If its title Alpha Machos implies a very heavy first degree, it is actually a fresh Spanish series, toned and seasoned with sharp answers.

The concept

Raoul’s long-time partner, who specializes in divorce, offers him a taste of the joys of an open relationship. Raul is quite reluctant. Eventually, Ester, the wife of Madrid city policeman Luis, can no longer handle her family routine with her two children and her planned husband and decides to sculpt her body at the gym. Luis is missing. The roles and situations are quite reversed and produce a series of explosive twists where the women have huge roles and do not count the plum. The whole thing paints a dynamic portrait of Spanish society, where machos are in danger. We laugh from beginning to end. Good news, season 2 of Laura and Alberto Caballero’s brother and sister series is already in production.
