Democratic Senator Joe Mancin publicly supported a moderate Republican lawmaker in the U.S. House of Representatives primary against two current West Virginia presidents. The senator appeared in a pre -election campaign announcement released on Friday in support of Trump -backed MP David McKinley’s opponent, MP Alex Moon.
In a 30-second ad, Mancin said McKinley was “always against reckless spending because it doesn’t make sense for West Virginia.” The Democrat added that Mooney “showed that he was totally against Alex Mooney. But the people of West Virginia know that David McKinley is with us”.
The “reckless spending” argument came after McKinley accused Mooney of deceiving voters about President Joe Biden’s $ 1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill. Mooney voted against him and in an announcement attacked McKinley for “supporting Biden’s trillion dollars”.
“I always say that if I can’t go home and explain, I can’t vote. “That’s why I’m against Build Back Better,” Mancin said in a McKinley announcement, adding that for Moon and his supporters that David McKinley supported Build Back Better was an obvious lie.
Former President Donald Trump supported Mooney the day Biden signed the infrastructure proposal. In response to McKinley’s ad, Mooney wrote on Twitter That his opponent is a “complete and total RINO” because Mancini supported him.
“They also supported the Jan. 6 false investigation by Donald Trump and his allies,” Mooney continued on Twitter. “Mancin even voted for Trump’s impeachment.”
Both Joe Mancin and David McKinley supported Joe Biden’s $ 1.2 trillion non-infrastructure account. They also supported a bogus witch -hunt investigation on Jan. 6 against Donald Trump and his allies. Mancin even voted for Trump’s impeachment.

McKinley’s campaign ran an announcement before the primary Republican Party in West Virginia on May 10. The two Republicans in office disagreed with each other after West Virginia’s population loss resulted in a lower in a state seat in the United States House of Representatives. Using the new Congressional map, McKinley and Mooney are fighting to represent the state’s 2nd Congressional District, a safe red zone where the majority of National Democrats have barely fought.
Mancini’s appearance in the announcement came after questions arose about whether Democratic centrists were considering changing sides, which made it very difficult for Biden to review his broader political agenda. Two reporters from the New York Times Write them in the next book Manchin told 2nd Senate Republican John Thun that he would change his affiliated party if the South Dakota legislator was the Republican leader of the Senate.
“They’re always joking back and forth,” Manchin backed away On Thursday. “They liked me so much – I said, ‘Guys, listen, I’m who I am, I’m a Democrat in West Virginia.’
