Seth Rogen relentlessly ripped The CW as the network aired his appearance during Sunday’s Critics’ Choice Awards (You can watch the actor’s comments below).
The “The Fabelmans” actor, who presented the winner for best comedy series at the awards, mocked the network after questioning whether the ceremony’s organizers “always present” two awards at the same time.
“It was weird,” said Rogen, who referred to presenting the awards for best actor and best supporting actress at the same time.
“Why do I do this? Do we have a little time? It takes another hour. It can’t be that expensive,” Rogen said.
Rogen later said the show’s timeslot on The CW “can’t be expensive,” though he insisted his remark wasn’t a poor reflection on the network.
“I’m not saying the CW is bad,” Rogen said. “What I will say is that it’s the only network that hasn’t received any Critics’ Choice nominations. You say it’s bad.”
“We’re on your least favorite network. How did it happen? Run next time, you would have won,” Rogen said.
