The announcement about Haechan’s temporary hiatus was made by the artist’s agency
This Friday, the 6th, SM Entertainment, the agency of the Korean boy group NCT 127, made a statement talking about the current state of health of the member. haechan and the period of rest he is going through.

Hello.
This is to inform fans about member Haechan’s health status and absence from scheduled activities.Recently, Haechan experienced abnormal conditions such as heart palpitations, chest tightness, and more, so he went to the hospital with his manager and had an appointment and examination, where he received the medical advice that treatment and rest are needed. Since Haechan’s health recovery is the most important thing, he won’t participate in scheduled activities for now and plans to recover his health while resting.
As a result, Haechan has decided not to participate in scheduled activities starting next week, and we will let you know later when it is confirmed that he will resume activities. We sincerely apologize to fans for causing concern and ask for fans’ understanding that this is a decision made for Haechan’s health.
We will do our best to work hard and support Haechan so that he can greet fans with a healthier image.

Also, in addition to the letter, DREAM MAKER USA confirmed that the singer would not participate in the future stops of NCT 127, the group’s tour. The next stops will now be in Latin America and the United States.
The statement says:
Please be informed that Haechan will not be able to participate in NCT 127’s 2nd tour ‘NEO CITY: USA & LATIN AMERICA – THE LINK’ due to health issues.
Therefore, eight members will participate in the US/Latin America shows as scheduled. We ask for your understanding.

NCT, later this month, will come back with their upcoming repackaged album “Ay-Yo”. Yet, recently, haechan even promoted NCT DREAM after releasing the remake “Candy”.
Currently, the group NCT has 23 members, and is composed of Taeyeong, Taeil, Johnny, Yuta, Kun, doyoung, have, jaehyun, WinWin, jungwoo, Lucas, mark, Xiaojun, Hendery, Renjun, Jeno, haechan, jaemin, YangYang, Shotaro, Sungchan, Chenle and Jisung. Also, the group does not have a member limit, and can receive new members whenever decided by SM Entertainment.
Also, they are divided into four sub-units (NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream and WayV). The most recent comeback, with all 23 members, took place in December 2021, with the album “Universe”. Check out the video for the title track “Beautiful”!
