In addition to the launch of numerous productions, the year 2022 was also responsible for marking the 15th anniversary of some Disney Channel films and series that marked a generation, and are loved by the public to this day.
To end the year on a high note, Recreio put together an incredible list of five Disney productions that turned 15 in 2022. Check it out!
1. High School Musical 2
The first sequel to one of Disney Channel’s greatest classics, “High School Musical 2”, completed 15 years of release this August. The production presents Wildcats during summer break while working at the luxurious Lava Springs country club.
2. Phineas & Ferb

Yes, it’s been 15 years since Phineas and Ferb went on vacation and started creating the most unimaginable constructions in their own backyard. Production wrapped in 2015 after four seasons and 222 episodes.
3. Wizards of Waverly Place

Being one of Disney Channel’s most popular series, “Wizards of Waverly Place” premiered on the channel on October 12, 2007, remaining on the air until January 6, 2012. The success was so great that the production won three Emmy Awards in the years 2009, 2010 and 2012.
4. Cory at the White House

The first spin-off of “That’s So Raven”, “Cory in the White House”, arrived at the Disney Channel in January 2007, but remained on the channel only until September 2008, with only two seasons. The series features Cory moving to the US capital to accompany his father, Victor, who has taken a job as a head chef at the White House, the official residence of the president.
5. Jump In!

starring Corbin Bleu, the Disney Channel Original Movie “Jump In!” premiered in January 2007, and tells the story of Izzy Daniels, a young boxer who ends up discovering a strong passion for jumping rope.
