The ranking in which BTS occupies the first position in two categories takes into account sales in South Korea.
The first day of 2023 has already arrived, bringing celebrations among the BTS members and fandom. The reason for the party is because the group occupies the first position in the ‘Yearly World Chart’ and ‘Yearly Physical Record Chart’ categories of Hanteo, the main chart in South Korea.

BTS also topped the chart on the Yearly Physical Record Chart, which tallies physical record sales from nearly 1,100 stores worldwide, where their album “Proof” took first place with over 3 million records sold, followed by “MAXIDENT” from Stray KidsSEVENTEEN the Sun’s “Face” and BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK”.
In addition to the two categories, Hanteo released the Top 10 of the Yearly Authentication Chart, a chart of albums where global fans directly authenticate genuine products. In this category, SEVENTEEN’s “Face the Sun” took the top position, while Stray Kids’ “ODDINARY” took the second place, followed by NCT DREAM’s “Glitch Mode” and “Beatbox” which took the 3rd and 4th places, respectively.
It is worth remembering that the categories list the top ten and that the complete list was released on the social networks of the Hanteo Chart, where groups like aespa and TOMOROW X TOGETHER appear among the placements. Check out!
