Christmas is finally coming, and there’s nothing better than getting together with the family in front of the couch and watching some Christmas movies next to the people you love the most.

The tradition of getting together with family members to watch movies together is carried out by thousands of people around the world and, for this reason, there is a huge number of productions about Christmas already made in the film industry.

1. Beauty and the Beast’s Enchanted Christmas (1997)

Synopsis: “Enjoy the wonders while madame samovar repeats yet another “story as old as time” about a Christmas that almost didn’t happen, thanks to the machinations of Forte, the former court maestro, determined to separate Beauty and the Beast forever. 2. It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie (2002)

Synopsis: “An angel helps Kermit and his friends save the Muppet Theater from a banker who wants to turn the place into a nightclub.”


3. Christmas in July (1979)

Synopsis: “Years ago the North Pole was ruled by the fairy Lady Borealis, who granted the reindeer Rudolph a magical glowing nose to protect Santa Claus from Winterbolt, an evil wizard. Years later, Rudolph and his friend Frosty, a snowman, are called upon to save a circus from Winterbolt’s clutches.


4. Richie’s Christmas (1998)

Synopsis: “After Richie is blamed for a sledding accident caused by his mischievous cousin, Reggie Van Sough, Richie wishes he didn’t exist. When a wishing machine invented by Professor Keenbean hears Richie Rich’s wish, it transports him to an alternate universe where Reggie is master of the house. As Richie struggles to return home in time to celebrate Christmas, he learns to appreciate his formerly privileged life.”


5. Miracle on 34th Street (1994)

Synopsis: “6-year-old Susan has doubts about the existence of Santa Claus. Her mother told her the ‘secret’ about Santa Claus a long time ago, so she doesn’t expect to receive the gifts on her Christmas list. But after meeting a department store Santa who is convinced he is real, Susan is given the most precious gift she could ever receive, something to believe in.”
