NEURC continues to record numerous violations of the rules governing the activities of business entities.
The National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Utilities (NEURC) will continue scheduled and unscheduled inspections of companies operating in the market. This was announced on December 20 by the press service of the regulator.
It was noted that after the introduction of martial law in Ukraine, most state control measures were suspended by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers.
At the same time, NEURC continued to record numerous violations by business entities of the rules governing their activities in the electricity and natural gas markets.
“The government, through decisions of May 13, 2022 and August 27, 2022, granted NEURC the right to conduct unscheduled on-site inspections and scheduled on-site inspections during of martial law, respectively. And on December 6, 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted amendments to Resolution No. on-site inspection,” the commission emphasized.
The decision to continue scheduled and unscheduled inspections was set by the regulator in a resolution dated December 19, 2022.
At the same time, scheduled and unscheduled on-site inspections will be conducted in areas where there are no territorial communities located in the area of hostilities or under temporary occupation, surrounded.
