American businessman Elon Musk, in addition to Starlink’s satellite Internet stations, has provided Tesla Powerwall solar panels and energy storage systems to Ukraine. This was announced on Friday, April 29, by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov on Facebook.
He noted that now in the Kyiv region, two outpatient clinics in Borodyanka and Irpen have received Tesla Powerwall solar panels and energy conservation systems.
“These solar panels and generators have become very popular in America. The Powerwall energy system has high autonomy and provides backup power during power outages. This innovative equipment will help Ukrainians in the areas those who have suffered the most from the Russian occupation, ”the minister wrote.
Recall that this week a representative office of Elon Musk’s SpaceX company, Starlink Ukraine, was registered in Ukraine. It was also reported that Ukraine will receive thousands of Starlink stations.
