At 1:09 am, after renewal repair, another (ninth) 1000 MW power unit of Energoatom was connected to the power grid, which was out of service on November 23 as a result of rocket attacks. Currently, power is being built, the report said.
Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko noted that this is another step towards the stability of the energy system of Ukraine.

At the same time, the Ministry of Energy reminded that the Russians are now blocking the integration of power units of the temporarily occupied Zaporozhye NPP. It continues to consume more than 100 MW of electricity for its own needs from Ukraine’s energy system.
It will be recalled that on December 11, a thousand-strong VVER-1000 power unit of one of the nuclear power plants was reconnected to the Ukrainian power grid. It is turned off due to the need to remove the sentence of the current backup protection transformer.
