The European partners are fully satisfied with the work of the Ukrainian energy system. Ukraine proposed to allow export-import.

The synchronization of the power system of Ukraine with the European ENTSO-E was successful, everything works reliably and stable. Maxim Timchenko, CEO of DTEK Group, spoke about it in an interview with Economic Truth.

He recalled that since March 16, Ukraine has connected its power grids to Europeans without the right of commercial overflow-export-import.

“Since then, our energy system has been operating in a synchronous mode that is very stable. Europeans are completely satisfied with the way our country manages this situation,” Timchenko said.

In turn, Ukraine proposed to European partners to allow commercial export of Ukrainian electricity.

According to him, so far it is possible to supply an additional 600 MW to Europe.

“And above all it is a political decision, which, I hope, the European partners will take. And then we will have to install special equipment to increase this cross section by 2.5 times,” added of the director of DTEK.

Recall that Ukraine was disconnected from the energy system of Russia and Belarus on February 24 – the day of the Russian invasion.
