DTEK RES announced that it is ready to continue the operation of the Trifonovskaya solar station in the liberated territory of the Kherson region to support the energy system of Ukraine. This was announced by the company’s press service on Wednesday, November 23.
The power of the station is 10 MW. He suspended work from the beginning of the conquest of the Kherson region.
According to preliminary estimates, the Russian invaders destroyed about 10% of the solar panels of the Trifonovskaya SPP.
The company is currently awaiting military and law enforcement clearance to return to the solar power plant to make a final assessment of its condition and damage.
“The company plans to immediately repair the solar power plant and, as soon as possible, start generating electricity for the energy system, which is important for Ukraine in the conditions of the energy crisis and winter,” said Maxim Timchenko , CEO of DTEK.
Akhmetov’s company added that the Trifonovskaya SPP was the first facility of DTEK RES, over which control was restored after the temporary occupation of the territories of the Kherson region of Russia.
