The Association of Event Companies reveals an increase in spending on celebrations held at the end of the year, such as graduations, promotional parties and any other events that involve fun like weddings.
And this is what after two years pandemic, there are many who want to celebrate and now with the removal of all restrictions; however, rising prices also affected these organizations.
“The main contribution that increased its value by 400% was the flowers, which influenced the final price of the events,” warned Hestion Arkanhel Chinchay, president of the organization.
Despite this, demand has not decreased. According to the spokesman, he found that this year, as a result of the lifting of restrictions, the demand for organizing such events has increased by 25%, especially corporate ones.
As he explained, in the case of flower shops, an arrangement can cost between SGD 800 and 1,500, but they currently spend SGD 5,000, and when it comes to an exclusive event, the price is around SGD 30,000 or more.
How much is spent per person for an event?
Only corporate events, which are most in demand on these dates, can be spent up to SGD 180 per person and up to US$ 320 for exclusive events, according to Rosa Cusirramos, director of event planning.
