“The energy supply situation in Ukraine as a result of rocket attacks remains difficult and changes every day. We continue to test the possibility of importing so that the country has additional tools to support the energy system ,” said Vitaliy Butenko, CEO of JSC ECU.

Currently, the import of electricity is not of a commercial nature, but is carried out to test the possibility of receiving electricity from Slovakia in the case of the needs of the Ukrainian energy system.

In early November, it was reported that Ukraine was increasing electricity imports from the EU. The section from Slovakia was bought by D.Trading LLC and Nexttrade LLC.
