heavy haulers who were fined by the Land Transportation Authority for Persons, Cargo and Goods (sutrant) may require their fines to be reduced by up to 95%.
The exemption is available to drivers, load generators, infrastructure operators, and others who wish to benefit from the Sanctions Regulation Program (PRS).
Sutran announced that they have until December 31 this year to make a request, and in order to do so, he detailed a series of steps.
How do I request a reduction in my fine?
First, you must request a mail prs@sutran.gob.pe report on sanctions pending payment, and violations or non-compliance. In the mail, you must specify the full name, identification number or company name and number Unified register of taxpayers (RUK); as well as the license plate or license plates of the vehicles.
In case of violations and sanctions cash, the corresponding amount must be paid through banking institutions or funds indicating the payment code.
To register an application for accommodation in the PRS, you must have a virtual box in the system of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTS), which can be registered at https://casilla.mtc.gob.pe/app/loginCasilla.html #!/
Finally, the application must be registered, duly signed, on our virtual platform: https://webexterno.sutran.gob.pe/WebExterno/Pages/SolicitudAIP/SolicitudPRS.aspx and attached with a single PDF file receipt of payment.
