National Administration of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) changes have been made to the referral directory, which will take effect on December 1. One modification is to check these documents as the sole task of the assembler.
What is a referral guide?
According to the Sunat official page, Online Help Guide –GRE is a document associated with payment vouchers, issued digitally by the sending user to support the transport or transfer of goods.
What are the new changes?
Kenneth Bengtsson, Executive President of Efact, explained that Sunat has created a new structure reference guidewhich asks for 37 data.
Among the data that needs to be specified is the RUC of the issuer, it also asks for a special sender authorization number, the name of the buyer’s company and even the name of the port or airport, as well as the gross weight of the goods, among other things.
There are also optional fields that will be filled in according to business casuistry.
What mistakes can I make when filling out my referral directory?
Kenneth Bengtsson explained that commercial invoice can no longer integrate invoice information since October of this year. In addition, these documents will become electronic and can be issued by transport companies.
Reference books are not obligatory if the sale takes place by electronic ticket, but they are obligatory when issuing an invoice and if the vehicle on which the goods are transported is a freight vehicle or has more than 8 seats.
Bengtsson also clarifies that companies can forward requests for verification and reference guide information to their e-service providers.
