Despite the October energy crisis in Ukraine, which was provoked by Russian strikes on energy infrastructure facilities, the demand for electric vehicles in the country continues to grow. This was announced on November 8 by the profile association Ukravtoprom.
It was noted that in October the fleet of Ukraine was filled with 1614 cars on battery power sources (BEV), which is 73% more than last year and 2% more than in September.
The majority of registered electric vehicles are passenger cars – 1556 units. (308 new and 1248 used).
The most popular electric car models registered in October:

DONG FENG-Honda M-NV – 117 units;

RENAULT Zoe – 90 pcs.
Also last month, 58 commercial electric cars (all used) were registered. RENAULT Kangoo ZE (39 units) is traditionally the leader in this segment.
“In total, since the beginning of the year, more than 10.5 thousand cars on battery resources have passed their first registration in Ukraine, which is one and a half times more than in the same period in 2021,” summarizes Ukrautoprom .
It will be recalled that in October, Rolls-Royce presented the first Specter electric car, capable of driving more than 500 kilometers on a single charge.
