The other day, the President turned to the World Bank with a request to allocate funds for the restoration of Ukraine.

The World Bank has allocated $ 4.8 billion for Ukraine’s reconstruction, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Friday, April 22, on Instagram.

He said that at yesterday’s ministerial round table he turned to the World Bank. As a result, the organization decided to allocate $ 4.8 billion to Ukraine.

“I am grateful that we have been listened to and supported. With this help, we can quickly get the country back,” Zelensky added.

So far, the World Bank estimates the physical damage to buildings and infrastructure in Ukraine as a result of the Russian invasion at approximately $ 60 billion.
