Harvesting of wheat, barley, peas and rapeseed has been completed. Millet is harvested from 95%, buckwheat – from 93%, sunflower – from 80%, soybeans – from 72%, sugar beet – from 59%, corn – from 20%.
The final harvest of wheat in the current season reached 19.2 million tons from 4.7 million hectares, barley – 5.5 million tons from 1.6 million hectares, rapeseed – 3.1 million tons from 1.96 million hectares, peas – 261 thousand tons from in 111.5 thousand.
By October 28, a total of 8.2 million tons of sunflower, 5.2 million tons of sugar beet, 4.5 million tons of corn, 2.6 million tons of soybeans, 149 thousand tons of buckwheat, and 98 thousand tons of millet had been harvested.
The average yield for all crops in the current season is 39.1 c/ha, including maize – 53.7 c/ha, wheat – 41.2 c/ha, barley – 35.1 c/ha, rapeseed – 28, 9 q/ha, soybeans – 23.6 q/ha, peas – 23.4 q/ha, millet – 23.2 q/ha, sunflower – 21.9 q/ha, buckwheat – 13.6 q/ha, sugar beet – 489 kg / ha.
It should be noted that in one week, the farmers harvested almost five million tons of grain.
According to the macro forecast, due to the war, this year’s harvest will fall by 34% and by almost 7% next year, to 45 million tons.
