The former co-owner of PrivatBank Gennady Bogolyubov came to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine on Thursday, October 20. Ukrainska Pravda reported this.
“At 11 am, Bogolyubov, accompanied by lawyers, arrived at NABU. Bogolyubov stayed in the building for 25 minutes. Then, after a short conversation with lawyers on the street, the oligarch’s cortege drove in the direction of center of Kyiv,” the message said.
Journalists appealed to NABU with a request to explain the case in which the visit took place. This could be the case of PrivatBank or Ukrnafta. No answer yet.
Recall that in September, PrivatBank won the arbitration on debts worth $1 billion. The case was heard at the London Court of International Arbitration. The Bank is released from any obligation to pay the principal amount of the loan or any additional interest payments.
