The company will continue to invest in the construction of “green” power plants, as well as energy storage systems.
Rinat Akhmetov’s DTEK will continue to invest in green energy. This was announced by the CEO of DTEK Maxim Timchenko, writes Economic Truth.
“The development of the “green” generation remains a priority. Today we are implementing projects for the construction of wind and solar stations. We want to build a whole ecosystem of solar and wind stations, including energy storage systems, as part of these projects,” he said.
According to him, the good topography and favorable weather conditions give Ukraine every opportunity to develop a “green” generation.
Timchenko added that DTEK’s corporate strategy provides for the development of international green energy projects.
Recall that in the summer at a conference in Switzerland, a plan was presented for the construction of 30 GW of “green” energy in Ukraine until 2032.
Today, the capacity of Ukrainian “green” energy is 9 GW. DTEK has previously proposed a plan to increase renewable energy to 30 GW by 2030.
