Food bonus: when will it start to be paid?

This week, the government authorized the transfer of more than S$1,171 million to the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS) to finance the disbursement food bonus from S/270.

Midis points out that those citizens who are part of at home with any member in the database of declarations of interests of authorities, civil servants or candidates for public office under oath, maintained by the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic.

It has also been determined that those who are part of the household of a person holding the position of congressman, mayor or mayor of a district or provincial municipality, municipal councilors, regional governors, regional councilors, lieutenant governors will not be able to access bonus S/270. regional, prefects, sub-prefects and/or lieutenant governors.

The bonus will be issued to 4 million 251 464 people who are eligible for poverty and extreme poverty according to the criteria mentioned above.

Approximately 2 million 559 850 families who will be included in the number of users of social programs such as “Together”, “Pension 65” and “With You” and who did not receive the subsidy established by Law No. 31538 will also receive the subsidy.
