After three purchase attempts Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), through Agrorural, provided a reward for the purchase of 44,000 tons of urea, which will be distributed to farmers due to the shortage of fertilizers due to rising prices.
The winner was Primer Charters International LTD, whose bid outperformed the bids submitted in a bidding process that included 22 bidders, 21 bids and 4 finalists.
“It has been awarded to Primer Charters International LTD. in the amount of 17,600,000 US dollarsin the amount of 44,000 tons nitrogen fertilizer – urea, for a delivery period of 21 calendar days,” the protocol says.
It’s worth saying that delivery time will start after signing the contract with the company within five working days.
The protocol was read out in the presence of members of the multi-sector commission for the purchase of carbamide, a representative Agro-rural and a notary.
The beneficiaries of nitrogen urea will be rural producers with a land plot of up to 5 hectares, which must be accordingly registered in Midagri/AgroRural depending on the department from which they originate.
