Over the month, the state budget deficit increased by almost 73 billion hryvnias, exceeding 493 billion.
For the nine months of 2022, the budget was implemented with a deficit of UAH 493.4 billion against the planned deficit of UAH 1,018 billion, according to the Ministry of Finance.
In September, the actual state budget deficit reached UAH 74.9 billion.
In the first month of autumn, the general fund of the state budget of Ukraine received 156.1 billion hryvnias.
Among the payments, the collection of which is controlled by the tax and customs authorities, the main revenues are received from:

VAT on goods imported into the customs territory of Ukraine – UAH 26.3 billion,

VAT on goods produced in Ukraine – UAH 22 billion (collected UAH 23.6 billion, reimbursed – UAH 1.6 billion),

Personal income tax and military tax – UAH 12.9 billion,

excise tax – UAH 9.2 billion,
-
rent for subsoil use – UAH 7 billion,
-
import and export duties – UAH 2.4 billion,
-
corporate income tax – UAH 1.4 billion.
Also in September, the general fund of the state budget received UAH 72.5 billion of international aid.
According to the State Treasury, in January-September, monetary expenditures of the state budget amounted to UAH 1,745.5 billion, including the general fund – UAH 1,593.8 billion, or 83.6% of the total for the reporting period. At the same time, in September, monetary expenditures of the state budget were made in the amount of UAH 295.2 billion, including the general fund in the amount of UAH 233.1 billion.
It should be noted that in August, the budget deficit was UAH 416.9 billion, so the deficit increased by almost UAH 73 billion during the month.
