Field stoves for Ukrainian defenders were made by DTEK Energy employees in their free time.
Rinat Akhmetov’s DTEK Energo enterprises launched the production of field stoves for the army in the Dnepropetrovsk region, the company’s press service reports.
“The steel front of Rinat Akhmetov brings together many projects with the help of the defenders of Ukraine. One more joins them – the production of field stoves for the army. The fighters spend a lot of time on the position in trenches and dugouts, so during cold weather they need to warm up, heat or cook food, dry things and shoes,” the message said.
In the coming days, the military will receive the first batch of field stoves – 60 units.
It is noted that the stoves were made in their free time from the main work.
Earlier, electrical engineers of DTEK Energo enterprises in the Ivano-Frankivsk region purchased and handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine 2 pickup trucks, 1 minibus and 5 diesel generators.
In total, as part of the Steel Front initiative, Ukrainian defenders received assistance worth UAH 2.5 billion. In particular, more than 150 thousand body armor, drones, walkie-talkies, tactical clothing, thermal imagers, cameras and other equipment and ammunition, unique shelters for strengthening trenches.
