In the eight months of 2022, exports from Ukraine decreased by 31% and reached about $29 billion, according to data from the State Customs Service.

During this period, this year, Ukrainian goods worth $28.97 billion were delivered abroad, while last year for the same period, exports amounted to $41.8 billion.
In particular, the export of metals and products from them decreased by more than half (-54%) – $4.7 billion against $10.2 billion.
The second position in terms of falling volume (-53%) is mineral products – $2.8 billion against $5.9 billion.
Exports of chemical industry products decreased by 46% – from $2.4 billion to $1.3 billion.
The largest trade partners of Ukraine are the EU countries, whose share in the structure of exports is 62%. Ukrainian exports to the EU increased by 6% – from $16.8 billion to $17.9 billion.
According to the Ministry of Economy, exports increased by 25% in August. This happened after the beginning of the grain corridor.
