Gas prices in Europe have been stable

Despite the suspension of supplies via Nord Stream 1, the price of gas remains around $2,000.

The price of gas in Europe settled in the region of $2,000 per thousand cubic meters, according to trade data on Monday, September 12.

Thus, the spot price of gas at the TTF site in the Netherlands for one-day early delivery is $1,972 per thousand cubic meters, or EUR 188 per MWh.

Gas prices have stabilized on the back of increased liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipments from the US and above-plan storage capacity levels.

Let’s remind, in September, 2nd the price for gas in Europe fell below 1900 dollars. But on September 5, the price immediately jumped 30%, surpassing $2,800. After that, the quotes started to drop again.
