In total, 2.37 million tons of agricultural products have been exported since the beginning of its operation. 54 ships with 1.04 million tons were sent to Asian countries, 32 ships with 0.85 million tons to Europe, 16 ships with 0.47 million tons of agricultural products to Africa.
If we talk only about Africa, then 8 ships (192 thousand tons of grain) were sent to Egypt, Sudan – 3 ships (115 thousand tons), Kenya – 1 ship (50 thousand tons), Algeria – 1 ship (44) thousand tons), Somalia – 1 vessel (29 thousand tons), Djibouti – 1 vessel (23 thousand tons) and Libya – 1 vessel (16.5 thousand tons).
“Also, as part of the aid to the population of Africa, which, according to the United Nations, is on the verge of a humanitarian disaster, 2 direct charter ships of the UN World Food Program (WFP) have already been sent. They will carry more than 60,000 tons of wheat for the residents of Yemen and Ethiopia,” the message said.
Also, thanks to partners from the UN, another 190 thousand tons of grain have been sold for the states of the African continent.
“In general, as part of CPN’s work, 280,000 tons of agricultural products will be exported from Ukrainian ports in the near future to fight hunger. The nearest vessel chartered by CPN is the bulk carrier which is KARIA ANGEL, which is currently undergoing inspection in Istanbul. After the check, it will be delivered to load 30,000 tons of wheat at Chornomorsk port,” the ministry said.

They added that the Safe Grain Transportation Initiative does not provide any restrictions on export directions.
“Together with UN Secretary General António Guterres, we are calling on other states and private investors to join in buying grain for the people of Africa… In particular, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has already announced the allocation of $68 million for the purchase of grain for Africa’s needs,” the message said. .
Separately, the Ministry of Infrastructure responded to Putin’s statement: “Any statements by the top political leadership of Russia aimed at limiting the export of Ukrainian food are considered an undefined use of the tragedy of the famine for the purposes political and another manifestation of cynicism, lies and the barbaric nature of modern Russia.”
Remember, on the eve of Putin said that Ukrainian grain is not given to the poorest countries, as planned. On this issue, he intends to consult with the President of Turkey, which has become the main exporter of Ukrainian grain.
The President’s Office denied Putin’s allegations, explaining them as a new attempt to blackmail the West into easing sanctions.
