The volume of private money transfers in Ukraine continues to decrease, according to data from the National Bank.
So, in July they reached 1.163 billion dollars, which is 1.2% less than a year earlier (1.177 billion dollars).
In total, in January-July 2022, Ukraine received $7.606 billion, which is 5.7% less than a year earlier ($8.069 billion).
Last year, the volume of transfers to Ukraine was a record – 15.026 billion dollars (+25.4%). This year, the number is expected to reach $12.6 billion.
Recall that in May the volume of private money transfers to Ukraine from abroad reached $1,162 million. In April, migrant workers transferred $1,011 million to Ukraine. And in June – 1.2 billion dollars.
