In the third-fourth quarter of 2022, $7.845 billion of principal and $2.266 billion in interest are due.
The highest payment fell in the third quarter – 5.571 billion dollars. In the fourth quarter it is necessary to return 4.541 billion dollars.
Also this year, Ukraine must return $1.172 billion to the IMF, including $157 million in interest.
It is also necessary to pay 14.640 billion hryvnias to non-residents who own Ukrainian government bonds.
It was also reported that in the first half of 2023, the government, the central bank, businesses and banks must pay $6.1 billion, of which $3.867 billion in the first quarter and $2.232 billion in the third quarter.
It should be noted that the public debt of Ukraine significantly decreased in dollars and increased in Hryvnia after the decision of the National Bank to lower the value of the national currency by 25%.
