Business associations, members of the National Council for the Promotion of Labor and Employment (CNTPE), once again rejected TLabor outsourcingbecause, according to the unions, there will be at least 200,000 job losses.
As we remember, from this Monday, the aforementioned law came into force, which imposes sanctions on more than 200,000 private companies that employ others who offer services that complement their economic activities.
“We call on the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) to respect the institutionality and legitimacy provided by our Constitution, which were violated by the issuance of Supreme Decree No. 001-2022 – TR, this limits the contracting of outsourced services in the Peruvian business system,” he said in a statement.
Work in danger
With the outsourcing law, there is a risk of losing 200,000 formal jobs of workers owned by outsourcing companies, according to the CNTP. Just a few days ago, the federationCTP builders (Workers Center of Peru) warned of fears of job losses for workers and an increase in construction as companies have to invest more.
This declaration also ensures that the government “Ignores dialogue and agreement in CNTPE” and “attacks the right to free enterprise and the right to official employment.”
“For this reason, we believe that the decisions of the judiciary and Indecopi indicating that this is an illegal measure mark a clear trend in judicial and administrative jurisdictions, respectively, that the MTPE does not have the authority to impose security measures. … of this nature, because the law on outsourcing services is violated in the country,” the message says.
They also questioned MTPE’s position on “the threat to take legal and administrative action against the competent authorities and authorities to determine the legality of the rules.”
“We find it unacceptable that, in a state of law, the MTPE has threatened to take legal and administrative action against the competent authorities and authorities to determine the legality of the rules. This action undermines the institutions of the country, without respecting the powers of institutions designed to protect the rule of law and protect workers, companies, citizens and the state itself from any abuse,” he said.
business associations, members of the CNTPE, confirm our commitment to work for sustainable development and the promotion of quality employment in Peru, which is the country’s best mechanism for combating poverty and ensuring prosperity.
