To date, the State has committed a total of S$60,000 million to both programs; however, there is a high delinquency of companies due to late payment of loans. There are currently 453,000 companies in debt under the program.
To date, the Reactiva Peru program has been implemented twice, the second time in 2020 it was launched to support small companies. In both phases, resources delivered through loans amounted to $60 billion.
453,000 companies are in debt under the program, representing 90% of all businesses that applied for loans. The delinquency resulted in a restructuring of loans in the amount of SGD 15,982 million. For this reason, Burneo clarified that Reactiva III “is not considered a priority in terms of economic recovery.”
As you know, SNI expected the implementation new program per month, based on the promise of the Minister of Foreign Trade, Roberto Sanchez; Moreover, the benefit will include support for small businesses, while the head of the IEF ruled out that medium and small businesses remain outside the attention of the executive branch.
However, the same Economy Minister Kurt Burneo ruled out this idea, because he believed that the state should worry about the return of borrowed funds.
