BCR: Official employment up 6.1% year-on-year in June

official employment The national total expanded 6.1% year-on-year in June, with 315,000 jobs added compared to the same month in 2021, the Central Reserve Bank said (BCR).

He noted that with a positive result for the month, 15 consecutive months of growth have been recorded since the beginning of the pandemic.

As for private formal jobs, they continued with positive growth recorded since April 2021, increasing by 7.8% year-on-year in June this year, he noted.

Services and trade

This increase was mainly in the services and trade sectors, which rose by 11.5% and 7.8% in June, respectively, they said.

He pointed out that the general payroll increased by 9.1% in June compared to the same month last year, mainly due to the recovery of jobs.

He noted that the private sector payroll increased 10.6% year-on-year in June, mainly due to an increase in the service and trade payroll.
