In July, about 760 tons of fuel were delivered to Ukraine, which is more than in the previous three months.
According to the results of July, the import of oil products returned to the pre-war level, Deputy Minister of Economy Denis Kudin said at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Interfax-Ukraine reports on Friday, August 19.
“Ukraine imported about 760,000 tons of gasoline, diesel and autogas. This is comparable to pre-war imports,” he said.
According to the Ministry of Economy, Ukraine imported 60,000 tons of oil products in March, 191,000 tons in April, and 380,000 tons in May.
Earlier, Kudin announced the overcoming of the fuel crisis in Ukraine, which appeared in the spring due to the war.
It should be noted that this week the parliament did not support the initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers to restore the excise tax on fuel.
The government proposes to partially restore the excise tax on gasoline to the level of 100 euros / 1000 liters. Before the full-scale invasion, the rates for petrol and diesel were 213.5 and 139.5 euros, respectively.
