The Ambassador called the terms of construction of the Bayraktar plant

Construction work should begin this year, and the launch of the business is possible next year, Bodnar believes.

The construction of a plant for the production of Bayraktar drones in Ukraine can be completed by 2023, Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Vasily Bodnar believes. He announced such forecast on the air of the telethon on Tuesday, August 9.

“Of course, there are some nuances related to the import of some equipment and the selection of a company for construction, but these are technical details. I think that next month we will see some progress in this matter … The The construction itself may take several months, and the launch of the plant (may take place) in 2023, possibly at the end,” he said.

The ambassador recalled that at the end of July the Cabinet of Ministers approved the agreement on the construction of the plant and submitted it to the parliament for approval.

“Accordingly, the owner of the Baykar Makina company acquired a land plot and made a plant project himself, and also created a corresponding Ukrainian company, where it is registered. It seems to me that despite the continuous approval process, the company has begun preparations to begin construction of this plant,” added Bodnar.

Meanwhile, Russia threatened to destroy the Bayraktar plant in Ukraine.
