The Panamax bulk carrier OCEAN LION will deliver about 65,000 tons of corn to South Korea, another ship will go to Turkey.
On Tuesday, August 9, two ships with 70,000 tons of food left the port of Chernomorsk, the Ministry of Infrastructure reports.
“The vessel RAHMI YAGGI will deliver 5.3 thousand tons of food to Turkey, and the Panamax bulk carrier OCEAN LION will deliver nearly 65 thousand tons of corn to South Korea,” the message said.
OCEAN LION is the second Panamax ship to leave Chornomorsk port. The Panamax class has some of the largest ships.
It should be noted that the first ship along the grain corridor went to Lebanon on August 1, but the customer refused to work. The consignment is looking for a new buyer.
In total, 12 ships have flown along the grain corridor.
