“We can now say that the “grain corridor” has started to work for exiting and entering the ports of Ukraine. This event is an important signal for the market that the “grain initiative” is a safe and, above all, profitable business opportunity for ship owners to return to Ukrainian ports,” he wrote.
The Minister noted that the number of ships sent from Ukrainian ports will grow.
“Specifically, we plan to reach the level of at least 3-5 ships per day within 2 weeks. Our goal is to reach the monthly volume of transshipment in the ports of Big Odessa to 3 million tons of food products agriculture,” he specified. .
In particular, the port of Pivdenny should start working next week.
“In the future, we plan to start negotiations with the UN and Turkey to expand the initiative to other ports, in particular Nikolaev,” Kubrakov added and recalled that the increase in transshipment at ports on the Danube also continues.
At the same time, the first grain caravan consisting of three ships arrived from Ukraine to Turkey today.
