The food bonus was recently officially announced by the government and will have two groups of beneficiaries: those associated with government social programs and vulnerable families, who will be selected by the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS).
A recent Midis statement indicated that social program users will receive payments this month, but new beneficiaries which will be part of the registry to be maintained by the ministry, will still have to wait a few months to collect the S/270 to be assigned to them.
